The Winnipeg Jets announced today they have agreed to terms with defenceman Nelson Nogier on a one-year, two-way contract with an average annual value of $700,000.
Nogier, 23, played one game for the Jets in 2018-19 and also skated in 74 games in the AHL with the Manitoba Moose and recorded nine points (1G, 8A) and 48 penalty minutes. The Saskatoon, Sask. native appeared in 10 contests for the Jets in his first professional season in 2016-17 and he has also played in 147 AHL games for Manitoba since 16-17 and has 23 points (3G, 20A) and 87 PIMs.
Nogier was selected by the Jets in the fourth round (101st overall) in the 2014 NHL Draft.
