Declan Chisholm – Peterborough Petes (OHL)
Chisholm has an assist in all 13 games to start the season. He’s third in team scoring and fourth among OHL defencemen with 18 points (1G, 17A) in 13 games. He has five multi-point games this season. Chisholm has been selected to the OHL squad for the Canada-Russia Series later this month.
Jared Moe – University of Minnesota Golden Gophers (B1G)
Moe is off to a hot start in his freshman season with the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers. He’s stopped at least 90% of the shots he’s faced in each of his three starts. In his most recent start on Oct. 26 at Minnesota-Duluth, Moe stopped 21 of 22 shots in a 2-0 loss for a .955 save percentage. He’s 2-1-0 on the season with a 2.01 goals-against average and .919 save percentage.
Nathan Smith – Minnesota State Mavericks (WCHA)
After missing the first two games of the season due to injury, Smith has racked up seven points (2G, 5A) in four games, as Minnesota State has gotten off to a 5-0-1 start. Smith factored into all four goals (1G, 3A) in a 4-4 tie against North Dakota on Oct. 18, for which he named the WCHA’s Rookie of the Week. Smith is second in team scoring and leads all NCAA freshmen with 1.75 points per game.
