The Winnipeg Jets announced today that they have agreed to terms with goaltender Laurent Brossoit to a one-year contract with an average annual value of $650,000.
Brossoit, played 14 games for the Edmonton Oilers in 2017-18 where posted a 3-7-1 record. He also played 29 AHL games for the Bakersfield Condors where he went 15-10-1 with a 2.68 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage. The native of Port Alberni, BC has played 28 career NHL games and has a 7-13-2 record with a 2.97 GAA and a .897 SV%. He was selected to play in the 2016 AHL All-Star Game during a season in which he went 18-9-3 with a 2.66 GAA and .920 SV%.
Brossoit was originally drafted by the Calgary Flames in the sixth round (164th overall) in the 2011 NHL Draft.
