Clinched
With a win over the Minnesota Wild in the penultimate game of the season, the Jets secured the final playoff spot in the NHL’s Western Conference… It’s the fifth time in the past six seasons that Winnipeg will compete in the NHL’s Stanley Cup Playoffs… The Jets have played 35 playoff games during the past five seasons, which is the most among the seven Canadian teams in the NHL, and have the second most wins with 16.

Beasts from the East
The Jets finished the regular season 15-17-0 against the Eastern Conference… Winnipeg hasn’t posted a winning record against the East since going 18-12-2 in 2018-19… Kyle Connor led the Jets in scoring against the Eastern Conference with 31 points (15G, 16A) in 32 games… Mark Scheifele had 16 goals in 32 games against the East.
Strong Finish
The Jets ended the season 7-4-0 in their last 11 games, including 4-2-0 in the month of April… The Jets scored 26 goals in their last seven games after scoring 15 goals in their previous nine games… Josh Morrissey led the Jets in scoring in April with seven points (1G, 6A) in five games, while Mark Scheifele (3G, 2A), Pierre-Luc Dubois (2G, 3A) and Nikolaj Ehlers (2G, 3A) each had five points.

Four members of the Jets played in all 82 games during the regular season – Kyle Connor, Brenden Dillon, Adam Lowry, and Neal Pionk… Connor, Dillon and Lowry reached 82 games for the second time in their career… Pionk played all 82 games for the first time in his career… The Jets didn’t have anyone play all 82 games last season.

Jets defencemen combined for 192 points (46G, 146A) during the regular season, which is seventh in the NHL… Josh Morrissey (76), Neal Pionk (33), Dylan DeMelo (27), Brenden Dillon (23) have all reached the 20-point mark, while Nate Schmidt has 19 points… Defencemen have accounted for 27.8% of Winnipeg’s points this season, which is fourth in the NHL, and 18.7% of the team’s goals, which is second… With Morrissey having 16 goals and Pionk scoring 10, it’s the third time in franchise history and second time since relocation that the Jets have had multiple defencemen with 10 goals in the same season.
Home Comforts
The Jets went 26-13-2 at Canada Life Centre this season, which is tied for fifth in the NHL… The Jets won 26 games at Canada Life Centre in a season for just the second time (2018-19)… Kyle Connor (19G, 28A) led the team with 47 points in 41 home games… Mark Scheifele’s 22 goals at home led the team… Winnipeg is 255-162-38 all-time at Canada Life Centre and have posted a .500 record or better at home in seven consecutive seasons.
Road Record
The Jets were 20-20-1 on the road this season… The Jets have posted a .500 or better record on the road in six of their past seven seasons… Kyle Connor (13G, 21A) led the Jets in scoring on the road with 34 points in 41 games… Mark Scheifele had a team leading 20 goals, which is the 11th time in franchise history a player has reached 20 goals on the road in a season.
PK Prowess
Winnipeg finished tied for seventh in the NHL this season with a penalty kill successful 82.6% of the time… The last time the Jets had a penalty kill better than 82% was in 2013-14 when they finished the season at 83.2%... The franchise record for penalty kill percentage in a season is 85.2%, which occurred in Atlanta during the 2003-04 season.
Special Difference
The Jets finished fourth in the NHL by playing 45:41 more on the power play than the penalty kill… Winnipeg had 56:43 of more power play than penalty kill time at home, which was second in the league… Winnipeg finished 23rd on the power play during the regular season at 19.3%.
Comebackers

Team Leader
Kyle Connor led the team in scoring with 81 points (32G, 49A) in 82 games… Connor reached 80 points and 40 assists for the second consecutive season… He’s also reached 30 goals for the second consecutive season and fifth time in his career… Connor finished one shy from hitting the 50-assist mark for the first time in his career… Connor also led the Jets last season with 93 points (47G, 46A) in 79 games, which was the fourth most points in a season in franchise history… He had a pair of hat tricks this season and his four hat tricks are tied with Nikolaj Ehlers for fourth in franchise history.
Record Maker
All-star defenceman Josh Morrissey set a franchise record for most points by a defenceman with 76 points (16G, 60A) in 78 games, which was second on the Jets… He has also established a career high with 60 assists, which is also now the franchise record for assists in a season by a defenceman… He is the 11th NHL defenceman in the past 10 seasons to have 60 assists in a season… He joins Marc Savard (2005-06) and Blake Wheeler (2017-18 and 2018-19) as the only players in franchise history to have 60 assists in a season… Morrissey has also passed the career high 12 goals he had last season with 16… He has joined Dustin Byfuglien as the only defencemen in franchise history to post back-to-back 10-goal seasons… Morrissey ended the season tied for second in the NHL among defencemen in scoring.
Sniper
Mark Scheifele tied for ninth in the NHL with 42 goals this season, which is a new career high… Scheifele reached the 40-goal mark for the first time in his career, besting the career high 38 goals during the 2018-19 season… Scheifele’s 40-goal season is the 10th occurrence in franchise history and it’s just the second time since relocation in 2011 – Kyle Connor 47 goals in 2021-22 and Patrik Laine 44 goals in 2017-18 – that player has scored 40 goals in a season… Scheifele also set a franchise record for most game-winning goals in a season with 10, which was fourth in the NHL during the regular season… Scheifele also had 11 multi-goal games, which is a career high.
Workhorse
Goaltender Connor Hellebuyck was tied for the NHL lead during the regular season with 64 games played and finish tied for fourth with a .920 save percentage… He reached the 60-game mark for the fourth time in his career and earned his fourth shutout of the season in the third last game of the season, which tied him for fifth in the NHL… He was second in the NHL with 3,778 minutes played this season and was the first goaltender this season to pass the 3,000 minutes played mark… Hellebuyck led the NHL in games played in 2017-18 (67), 2019-20 (58), and 2020-21 (45) and minutes played in 2017-18 (3,966) and 2020-21 (2,603)… Prior to the last game in Colorado, he started 13 consecutive games for the Jets to end the regular season, posting a 1.93 goals-against average and .927 save percentage in those games.

Zeros
The Jets registered four shutouts in the regular season… Winnipeg’s first two shutouts were by 4-0 scores (Oct. 24 vs. STL and Nov. 5 vs. CHI), while the Nov. 29 5-0 shutout against Colorado gave the Jets three shutout wins by at least four goals… The Jets had five shutouts last season, which is two shy of the franchise record… Winnipeg was shut out six times this season, which is the most in a season since the Jets were shut out seven times during the 2011-12 season.
