The Winnipeg Jets announced today they have recalled defencemen Ville Heinola and Nelson Nogier and forward C.J. Suess from the Manitoba Moose.

Heinola, 19, had 14 points (1G, 13A) in 19 games for Lukko Rauma in the Finnish Liiga this season before helping Finland win a bronze medal with his tournament all-star performance at the 2021 World Junior Championships. The native of Honkajoki, Finland made his NHL debut in eight games for the Jets last season and had five points (1G, 4A) and four PIMs. Heinola also added an assist in three games for the Moose before finishing the season with Lukko Rauma.

Nogier, 24, played 58 games for the Moose last season and recorded nine points (1G, 8A) and 45 penalty minutes. The product of Saskatoon, Sask. has played 11 games for the Jets between the 2016-17 and 2018-19 seasons while featuring in 205 games for the Moose over the last four campaigns and totaling 32 points (4G, 28A) and 132 PIMs.

Suess, 26, made his NHL debut for the Jets last season and also played 57 games for the Moose and finished second on team in goals (14) while adding 13 assists and 33 PIMs. The native of Forest Lake, Minn. played just 26 games in an injury-shortened season for Manitoba in 2018-19 and had 12 points (8G, 4A) and six PIMs after making his professional debut in a six game stint for the Moose in 2017-18 after finishing a four-year career at Minnesota State – Mankato.
