The Winnipeg Jets announced today they have selected defenceman Tyrel Bauer with the 164th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft.
Bauer, 18, tallied 17 points (3G, 14A) and 85 penalty minutes in 60 games with the WHL’s Seattle Thunderbirds last season. During his time with Seattle, the product of Cochrane, Alta. has 31 points (6G, 26A) and 176 penalty minutes in 126 games.
