Kyle Connor took a wrist shot from inside the right circle that Thatcher Demko stopped with his right pad. Mark Scheifele recovered the rebound and dragged the puck to his right before firing it behind Demko.

Kyle Connor won a race to a loose puck at centre ice before entering the offensive zone on a breakaway. Connor buried the puck with a snapshot under the top left corner of the net.
