The Winnipeg Jets entertain the Dallas Stars today in the first of four games this week…The Jets were shut out 4-0 by the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena on Friday in their first game of 2019…Winnipeg continues the homestand on Tuesday against the Colorado Avalanche.

Friday’s game marked the third time this season the Jets have been shut out, which is the most since being shut out four times during the 2015-16 season…Winnipeg was shut out twice in each of the last two seasons…The franchise record for most times being shut out in a season is 12, which happened during the 1999-00 season when the franchise was in Atlanta.

Friday began a run of nine games in 16 days for the Jets leading into the player and all-star break from Jan. 20-27…After the all-star break, the Jets also have a busy schedule with 11 games in 20 days.

Connor Hellebuyck won his 100th career game on Monday against the Oilers…He reached the milestone in 179 games, which the fourth fastest in NHL history by an American born goaltender…Hellebuyck is second all-time in franchise wins, behind Ondrej Pavelec’s 152 victories…Hellebuyck’s .644 winning percentage is first in franchise history among goaltenders that have made 100 starts.
