The Winnipeg Jets announced today they have claimed forward Nick Shore off waivers from the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Jets also announced they have placed defenceman Dmitry Kulikov on injured reserve.
Shore, 27, has played in 21 games for the Leafs this season and has three points (2G, 1A) and 12 penalty minutes. The Denver, Colo. native spent the 2018-19 season with the KHL’s Magnitogorsk and recorded 16 points (3G, 13A) and 22 PIMs in 37 games. Shore, Los Angeles’ third round pick (82nd overall) in 2011, has played 257 career NHL games for Los Angeles, Ottawa, Calgary, and Toronto and has 56 points (17G, 39A) and 90 PIMs. He also played one playoff game for the Kings in 2015-16.
