From the right wall, Mark Scheifele sent a pass across the ice to Patrik Laine at the top of the left circle. Laine one-timed a slap shot that beat Tuuka Rask, but hit the crossbar.  The rebound bounced in the air to Blake Wheeler at the side of the crease who knocked it in.

While on the power play, Blake Wheeler sent a pass across the ice to Patrik Laine on the left side. Laine moved into the circle before sliding a pass to Mark Scheifele to the right of the crease where Scheifele redirected the puck behind Risk and in.

David Krejci gathered the puck near the top of the left circle and fed Charlie McAvoy, who moved into the slot and fired a wrist shot off the inside of the post and in.

Sean Kuraly fired a shot from the right circle that was stopped by Hellebuyck.  Noel Acciari gathered the rebound at the top of the crease and let a shot go that was stopped, but the puck went to Joakim Nordstrom at the right of crease. Nordstrom was stopped by the left pad of Hellebuyck on his first chance, but banged in the rebound.

Mark Scheifele carried the puck into the Bruins zone and sent a pass to a streaking Jacob Trouba, who kicked the puck from his skate to his stick before firing the puck through the legs of Rask and in.

With the puck bouncing in the slot, Bruins forward Danton Heinen had the puck go off his skate right to Nikolaj Ehlers, who quickly snapped a shot over the glove of Rask and in.

David Krejci sent a pass back to Zdeno Chara at the left point. Chara one-timed a slap shot that was redirected by Charlie Coyle at the top of the crease and beat Connor Hellebuyck.
