The Winnipeg Jets visit the Minnesota Wild tonight for their first of two games in as many nights…The Jets won for the third time in their past four games with a 7-4 victory against the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday night…Winnipeg plays the back half of the back-to-back tomorrow night at Bell MTS Place against the Detroit Red Wings.

Outburst Continues
The Jets have scored five goals or more in back-to-back games for the first time since Dec. 11-13…Winnipeg has scored five goals or more in 15 games this season (15-0-0), which is tied for second in the NHL.

Power Play Clicks
After going 1-for-15 (6.7%) on the power play in seven games from Dec. 18-Jan. 4, the Jets are 4-for-8 on the power play in their past two games…While the Jets lead the NHL in home power play percentage at 38.2%, Winnipeg is 12-for-61 (19.7%) on the power play in road games this season and are 0-for-11 in their past five road games.

On the Road Again
The Jets are 12-7-0 on the road this season, but had their three-game road winning streak end in Pittsburgh last Friday…Winnipeg has won eight of their past 10 games away from Bell MTS Place…Winnipeg matched a franchise record with a five-game road winning streak from Nov. 24-Dec. 14…Blake Wheeler (3G, 19A) leads the Jets in scoring on the road with 22 points in 19 games.

The Jets are in the midst of nine games (2-1-0) in 16 days leading into the player and all-star break from Jan. 20-27…After the all-star break, the Jets also have a busy schedule with 11 games in 20 days.

Against the Central
Winnipeg is in a stretch of five of eight games against Central Division teams…The Jets are 9-5-0 against Central Division teams this season…Since the start of the 2016-17 season, the Jets are 43-22-4 against Central Division teams, which is first in the NHL…In that same time frame, Blake Wheeler leads all NHLers in scoring against the Central Division with 91 points (27G, 64A) in 69 games, while Mark Scheifele is second with 83 points (33G, 50A) in 61 games.

The Jets scored twice in the first period on Tuesday against Colorado, which was the first time in seven games Winnipeg scored in the first period…The first period has been the least productive offensively for the Jets this season with 40 goals, compared to 43 goals in the second period and 57 goals in the third period…The Jets have a positive goal differential in each period this season (1st – 3; 2nd – 6; 3rd – 13)…Winnipeg has scored three third-period goals in each of their last two games.
