While on the power play, Mark Scheifele won the draw to Patrik Laine, who knocked it back to Dustin Byfuglien at the left point.  Byfuglien moved to the middle of the ice and let a wrist shot go that redirected off the stick of Flyers forward Dale Weiss and beat Anthony Stolarz on the glove side.

Kyle Connor

  • Scored the first goal of the game to end a nine-game goalless streak – his longest of the season.
  • Took a team-high four shots.

Connor Hellebuyck

  • Allowed just one goal on 35 shots.  It’s the third consecutive game Hellebuyck has allowed just one goal. 
  • Improves to 13-8-1 on the season. 
  • Made 16 saves in the first period, which is the third most he’s made in the first period this season.

Patrik Laine

  • Registered a pair of assists tonight.  It’s Laine’s first multi-assist game of the season.
  • Laine’s assist on Dustin Byfuglien’s second period goal ended a 10-game assist drought.

Adam Lowry

  • Led the Jets with four hits tonight.

Josh Morrissey

  • Scored his third goal of the season on the power play in the first period and added an assist on Brandon Tanev’s second period goal.
  • Has four points in his last three games played (2G, 2A).
  • Morrissey’s goal is the second goal scored by the Jets’ second power play unit this season.
  • It’s the third multi-point game of the season for Morrissey.

Mark Scheifele

  • Had three assists tonight. It’s his second three-assist game of the season and fifth of his career.

Blake Wheeler
