While on the power play, Nikolaj Ehlers sent a cross-ice pass to Tyler Myers, who fired a slapshot from the top of the right circle that was redirected by Mathieu Perreault at the top of the crease and beat Andrei Vasilevskiy.

With a scramble in front of the Lightning net, Brandon Tanev found the puck, spun and fired a shot off the post, but the rebound sat free in the crease where Tanev knocked it in.

Ondrej Palat picked up the puck in the right corner and fed a pass to Steven Stamkos near the top of the right circle. Stamkos one-timed a slapshot that beat Connor Hellebuyck on the blocker side.

Mikhail Sergachev let a shot go from the point that hit Brayden Point in the slot.  Tyler Johnson found the loose puck, turned, and fired a shot along the ice that beat Connor Hellebuyck through the legs.

In overtime, Patrik Laine moved down the left side and took the puck to the net where Andrei Vasilevskiy poke checked it away, but the puck went right to Mark Scheifele in the slot who snapped it blocker side on Vasilevskiy and in.
